RESTAURANT "55°" We invite you to the restaurant “55˚ “ which is located in the heart of Kaunas city – Laisves aleja (The Alley of Freedom). Friendly and professional staff will greet you in the modern coffee bar where you can relax, drink a cup of coffee and taste various desserts created by our chef of the kitchen. Stairs will lead you down to the restaurant “55˚ “ arranged in the cellar, where every visitor is met by the “master” leaning on the “Samane” equipment. Interior formed by the red brick arches, old pictures of Kaunas will take you to the end of XIX century when the house was build. The walls decorated with painted works showing all the way of "Samane" from “grain to the table” will help you to imagine how this strong, 55 degrees alcohol, is made. The restaurant is divided into two halls – “grain hall” decorated with various authentic materials, household articles from the owner’s farmstead that has a spirit of the interwar period and “classic” shimmering with elegance. Guests can select between variety of dishes of the European and special Lithuanian cuisine with the wide assortment of wines or other spirits. Be our guests! |
